  • Amiga Mouse Restauration

    I got a realy new Amiga Mouse (right Mouse). And want to clean up a mouse in a bad taste like the left one.

    After some cleaning and putting into a retrobright like lotion and a lot of sun (around 1-2 weeks)

    look what happens to the bad mouse.

    The only prob remains is the cable …

  • Repairing Vectrex Controller with bad Buttons 3 and 4

    Recently I got a Vectrex but the Controller didn’t work properly 🙁

    Buttons 3 and 4 don’t react like normal and shooting in Minestorm didn’t make fun.

    I opened the controller with some help of the hairdryer and removed the top foil.

    Once its open I cleaned the analog stick and case with some alkohol and after cleaning using some vaseline to make ist work propper again.

    the pcb is holding via one screw in center. At the edge the pcb is loose and didn’t get the button of 3 and 4 correctly. I used a second screw at the right and the buttons works again like new 🙂

  • Digital Audio Output for SNES

    nothing new. But I tried it today 🙂

    With the help of a IC XMITTER DGTL 192KHZ 28SOIC and the pcb from borti it is a easy mod.

    I removed the RF-Modulator and put the TSOP LED in place

  • Atari 130XE cleanup

    I bought a used Atari 130XE in a bad shape:

    Here you can see some photos about the process:

    I used the dishwasher to clean the case. But attention you have to remove it during the cleaning process before the dry process starts. I suggest a time around 10-15 minutes.

    After removing I cleaned the case with water. If you want to speedup the process you can use a hair dryer. For strong dirt you can use ethyl-alcohol. A tooth brush does a good job too.

    For cleaning the keyboard I used plastic cleaner with a brush and removed the water with a pressure air compressor.

  • cleanup and restoration of a vintage Atari 4.5Zoll Trackball

    I got replacement parts for my Monster Trackball a vintage original 4 Zoll (real 4.5 Zoll) Atari Trackball. It was used in Atari Football and Missile Command.

    First I have to dissaemble it. cleaning was necassary with ethyl-alcohol and soap.

    I changed the handles, 5 bearings , and Opto PCBs too.

    Now it is running like in 1978 🙂

  • REAL SPIDER mod for Monster Bash Pinball

    Hi here you can see my real Spider mod for MB Pinball.
    I used some plastic spiders and put them to a plastic. Under the spider I put a green 5 mm Led to make it more effectfull.

  • Treasure Chest LED Mod for Tales of the Arabian Night #Part 2

    After a long time I had some time to some more work at the Treasure Chest Mod for Totan.

    I used some transparent crystals on the surface of the treasure and 3 auto RGB-Leds inside.

  • Skeleton Mod for Tales Of The Arabian Nights

    A friend of mine Andé Azzi was thinking about the skeleton will fit in the bed of nails area in ToTAN. So I tried it with some led enhancements…

    It fits perfectly into the nails and I connected the eyes to a flasher downunder and the chest to the flasher under aladdins lamp…
